The Story of Eyedentity Studio
Eyedentity is a clever word play on our fascination with the eyes, which are often referred to as the windows to the soul. The word identity roots from the Latin word essentias which means being. Our intention of merging these two meanings aligns perfectly with our vision of cultivating beauty and well-being from the inside and out—and from that, Eyedentity Studio was born.
We strive to transform one’s self and our communities through cultivating self-love
On our ever-continuing path of self-discovery and acceptance, we’ve established Eyedentity Studio as a safe haven where transformation takes root in the simple act of caring for one’s physical and mental well-being. We want to remind everyone that caring for our well-being goes beyond appearances and it all starts from within when you create the space for it.
We aim to introduce self-care as the courageous act of self-love
In a world where everything is demanding of our attention, taking time for ourself can feel like a daunting task. Let us help ease the way for you to incorporate self-care into your routine and recharge you when you need it the most. We want to remind you it is okay to make yourself a priority, and we will be there with you every step of the way.
We offer a holistic approach to beauty and wellness
At Eyedentity Studio, we believe beauty is much more than skin deep. It is the being that shines through from within that creates one’s radiance, and that is why we offer non-invasive facial treatments along with wellness practices to foster the love and beauty that is already in you. Not only can our members refine their appearance with our wide range of esthetic services, but they will also be able to tend to their mental well-being in our mediation and wellness workshops. We believe cultivating beauty and wellness go hand in hand together, and we are thrilled to bring this unique experience to you.
We foster inclusivity that transcends gender identities
So long are the days when beauty was reserved purely for femininity. At Eyedentity Studio, we want to challenge that norm and inspire a new wave of individuals that are transforming into the best version of themselves. We want to create space and foster that intention for those that are new to the idea or might not know how to. Your self-expression is so beautiful and worthy of being celebrated. We’d love to see it!
We strive to build and give back to our communities
Our members are the heart of our business and their communities are the veins that enable us to reach and expand our vision to so many of you. By investing in your well-being and becoming a part of our Self-Care Club, you are supporting the growth of our local community as we partner with local organizations working actively to support the wellbeing and livelihood of QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities. We are thrilled to stand behind these initiatives and invite you to support these communities with us:
“Therapy Fund Foundation works to remove barriers to Black healing by offering free mental health education, advocacy, and therapeutic services for those impacted by racial trauma, anxiety, depression, and systemic oppression. We ensure access to culturally responsive, anti-racist clinicians while fairly compensating them, and we also support the tuition costs of future Black therapists who will serve their communities.
Our vision is a society where Black people have full access to mental health equity—resulting in fewer suicides, reduced depression and anxiety, less violence, stronger communities, longer lifespans, and improved overall well-being.
“Alphabet Alliance of Color (AAoC) is an organizing alliance of queer and trans Black, Indigenous, and people of color (QTBIPOC) in the Puget Sound region working on every level of change, from individual to institutional. AAoC was born from our struggle for dignity and self-determination within white, cisgender, and heterosexual-led nonprofits.
Our purpose is to build and nourish the interconnected network of alliance members who challenge and tear down the systems that cause or recreate harm to the community. We will know we are successful when these harmful systems have been replaced with transformative justice models based in reciprocity, non-hierarchical leadership, shared power, and mutual aid.”
